Personal Consultation Service:	We offer a very personalized service to each of our customers. Whether an order is placed in our store, by telephone, or through our website, each order is personally handled by one or several of our experienced staff members to ensure you the simplest and most enjoyable shopping experience! We take pride in our sales and bridal consultants and hope that our expertise and friendly service will allow us to create a lasting relationship with our customers.
Special Care Shipping & Order Handling:	Shipping fragile merchandise is our specialty. Be assured that each piece of your order is hand packed by our experienced shipping staff to give your package every opportunity to reach you undamaged. We have exceeded not only courier company standards on packaging but also our distributors packaging standards. We are proud to boast an exceptionally low breakage rate on all of our shipping. Should however anything be damaged upon your order's arrival, we simply ask you to call us immediately and we will be happy to do all we can to rectify the situation. Household China Flower Shop:	Household China and Gift's second floor Flower Shop offers fresh flowers for all occasions - everything from weddings and special events to funerals and private parties. We will also be carrying a wide selection of gift and home decor items in a variety of styles to suit your every need. Delivery will be available for any Flower Shop orders. Set up an appointment for a personal consultation with our Floral Designer Robb Wilson. He has over fifteen years of floral experience and has worked all over Ontario at a variety of events as well as decorating numerous private home for holiday seasons. During a consultation with Robb you can work together to create a unique design to suit your needs. He specializes in beautiful arrangements to match your lifestyle. The Household China Flower Shop, located on our second floor will also be offering floral design classes and seminars - e-mail us directly to sign up for a mailing list notifying you of upcoming classes! The Flower Shop will be open from 10am to 6pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 11am to 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 9am to 6pm on Saturdays. Gift Certificates:	We offer gift certificates in both monetary amounts and for product that is currently not in stock. Product gift certificates are redeemable as soon as the merchandise arrives at our store and we are happy to notify the recipient (or purchaser - whichever is specified) as soon as the product is available.
Layaway / Payment Plan:	Need to budget for your purchases? Household China offers a layaway and payment plan for your convenience. We would be happy to hold any order for up to two weeks without payment or if you choose to make monthly payments on your purchase, we will be happy to hold your order for one year. Gift Registries:	Whether you wish to consult one of our experienced bridal consultants for expertise on helping you choose your formal or everyday tableware, or are prepared with your own choices on tablesettings, we can help. Gift registries help to make decisions easier for your family and friends - not just for a special occasion such as a wedding or anniversary, but for birthdays, seasonal holidays, housewarmings, and many other special days in the year. Corporate Gifts:	Household China is pleased to offer you a wide variety of products at substantial savings for corporate orders. Provide us with the amount of a product that you require, an approximate budget, and an idea or two of the type of product you wish, and we will provide you with a list of options that fit your guidelines. Let us do the footwork for you!
E-mail Notification for Internet Orders:	When you place an order with us for shipping, either by phone or by our secure web order form, we will be sending you a confirmation of your order by email before the order has been processed to confirm your order with you. Once processed, you will also receive an email on the day that your parcel leaves our store, as well as an email notification should your order take longer than expected to arrive from the distributor or manufacturer. Please note that we will require a valid email address to provide you with this service.
Free E-mail Newsletter:	We offer a fabulous e-newsletter that is sent out in the first week of each month which includes information on new products, special sales, exclusive promotions (only available to in-store and e-newsletter customers), events, and important announcements. Free Giftwrapping:	We are happy to provide a free giftwrapping service (upon request) to our customers on their purchases. (Clearance items are excluded)
Parcel Tracking Service:	We understand how time is precious and as such will be happy to track your parcel for you or handle any problematic situations should your parcel not arrive in the time we have specified in our email notification to you.
Discontinuation Notification:	Should we receive notification from the manufacturer or our distributor that a pattern is being discontinued and product in that pattern is still available for purchase, we will attempt to notify you by the following methods: - By our website - patterns being discontinued or on while-stock-lasts-basis will be noted on each company page on our website as soon as we are given this information. - By email - this option is currently open only to customers that have placed shipping orders with us since January 2002: either by phone through our internet sales department or by our secure web server. Please note that as email addresses change and may bounce back to sender for various reasons, we can not guarantee that this information will reach you and we suggest that you frequently check on our website for current information. - By telephone - this option is currently open to those who have a current gift registry with us.
